ELEAGUE debut hits over 500,000 viewers

The much anticipated new CS:GO competition ELEAGUE aired live on TBS last week and hit a total viewership of 509,000 during its primetime Friday night slot. ELEAGUE

It was also broadcast internationally via local networks throughout Europe, South East Asia and Latin America as well as via Huamao in China and Starladder in Russia.

During the debut week of the competition the ELEAGUE social media accounts hit 27 million impressions on Facebook and Twitter, with 710 million impressions on the ELEAGUE in general, the teams involved the TBS channel.

Moreover it was the second most discussed programme on Friday night on Twitter. It was also the most watched channel on streaming platform Twitch with over 4.3 million video starts over the first four days of the competition.

This week sees Group B teams including Ninjas in Pyjamas, OpTic Gaming, Selfless Gaming and G2 Esports fight it out for a place in the finals.
