Alexman, a hot tipster on the OLBG sports betting community, has signed up to take today’s eight-race Tipster Challenge at Thirsk.
Given that he is +£110.51 for £1 stakes on horse racing over the last six months, Alexman is well placed to challenge series regular Stephen Harris.
The horse racing guru from bettingexpert sits second in the latest standings, with an average of two race wins and 10.19 points over eight weeks.
bettingexpert: Fink Hill
Showed promise on debut and represents very astute connections.
I like it when the young horses improve massively from their 1st to 2nd run, like this horse did. it shows they are learning on the job and if he can improve again this could be his time.
bettingexpert: Fake News
Bred to be speedy and a market move would increase confidence.
OLBG: Raven’s Raft (Nap of the Day)
Good jockey booking, with SDS replacing a younger more inexperienced rider who rode last time out. This horse shaped with promise on debut and the big jockey booking indicates they could think this is his chance to win.
bettingexpert: Give Em A Clump
With the visor on to sharpen, he can take a poor seller with an improved attitude.
OLBG: Give Em A Clump
First time visor now in this lowly class of race which can often bring about the improvement the horse needs to finally get his head in front. Ran well last time out, is better off at the weights with his rival from that day, a big-name jockey booked and the aforementioned headgear will hopefully be enough.
Had an excuse for a disappointment last time and had been shaping well prior.
Very in and out performer but at his best he is a talent, he actually won here on seasonal debut so clearly likes the track and whist he flopped last time out that is his personality. Back at a favoured track, with first time cheekpieces applied, he is worth an e/w chance.
bettingexpert: Compton Park
Has ideal conditions and can gain reward for some solid efforts of late.
OLBG: Relight My Fire
No doubt that his reappearance run at Beverly was just to give him a pipe opener and he will surely improve for that seasonal debut. He has been a serial loser but placed plenty of higher marks than this last season and Rachel Richardson claims a handy 3 lbs off his back, e/w chance.
bettingexpert: Night Circus
Has potential to do better in handicaps and is less exposed than these rivals.
Roger Varian is absolutely flying winning with his last six runners. This is his only runner at the track at Thirsk, he was a good maiden winner last time out over this distance and sports some first-time headgear which may help him improve again for handicap debut.
bettingexpert: El Cap (Nap of the Day)
Should improve as he matures and has the best form in the book.
OLBG: El Cap
Really interesting horse from the Sir Michael Stoute yard who does well with a few runners at this track. This horse has been running on the all-weather so far in his career but interesting they try him on turf and all the way up at Thirsk. I presume they have found a winning chance, or think they have, and Makin on board rides the track well.
bettingexpert: Bold Spirit
Has been running well in defeat and should go close in a wide-open finale.
OLBG: Gaelic Wizard
Won twice over course and distance last year and whilst form this season has been a real mixed bag, 5th of ten last time out just about two weeks ago is the best form shown in ages. if the return to Thirsk helps, could hit the frame off a feather weight when riders claim is considered.
