OLBG hits £1m in tipster rewards

Legacy online betting community OLBG has declared that it has achieved a major milestone by distributing over £1m to its users through free-to-enter tipster competitions.

Since its inception in August 2003, the platform has awarded a staggering 76,953 prizes, with the most successful winners earning up to £9,115 each.

With its growing community and platform, OLBG competitions cover a wide range of 22 sports. These include mainstream games such as football and horse racing and more niche markets like esports, politics, and recently added Gaelic sports, Aussie Rules, and Lacrosse.

The company’s CEO, Richard Moffat, expressed his pride in the achievement: “Our tipster competitions have been fundamental in building our engaged sports betting community. Many of our members have been using OLBG on a daily basis for years.”

OLBG’s growth sees the affiliate currently reward £7,100 monthly across more than 800 individual prizes. Of distinction, its football tips lead the pack with a £2,100 monthly prize fund, closely followed by horse racing at £1,600.

The site’s user base has increased significantly, with over half a million users joining OLBG. Moffat highlighted: “Over 500,000 users have joined OLBG, with several thousand taking part in the competitions on a daily basis. This creates a huge amount of valuable content for those who like to follow tips and learn betting strategies.”

The platform offers cash prizes and encourages community contributions through its OLBG crowns. Members earn these by tipping and can exchange them for merchandise, including the popular orange and black OLBG scarves.

As the first platform of its kind to pass the £1m milestone in prizes, OLBG is eager to continue providing engaging and rewarding experiences for its community. “We look forward to giving away even more cash to our loyal users in the future; they deserve every penny they receive,” Moffat concluded.
