Genius Sports claims that it has delivered the most accurate automated pricing tool for sportsbooks with the unveiling of its new ‘Edge‘ pricing solution.
A key product launch for 2024, Genius Sports brands Edge as “a first-of-its-kind automated pricing tool that enables sportsbooks to maximize profits across unlimited sports events and bets concurrently.”
Edge utilizes Genius Sports’ wider capabilities in risk management, analysing real-time liability and individual bet data to produce optimal automated odds for sportsbook clients.
Outlined as a key objective, Genius Sports states that Edge was built to challenge the industry’s standardized risk management solutions, which “simply limit players and minimise losses.”
As explained by Product Director Thomas Holland: “The explosion of betting content means sportsbooks offer hundreds of thousands of events every year.
“This makes it almost impossible for trading teams to truly optimise pricing and ensure they are squeezing the maximum margin out of every bet, especially where turnover is highest.”
Featuring enhanced automation modules, Edge recalculates odds at the fixture and market-type level, including the pricing of BetBuilder products.
Benefiting bookmakers, Edge ensures that all price recalculations are correlated to ensure that all related betting markets are automatically optimised for maximum profitability, which is necessary “to unlock greater profit on every bet.”

Edge is now available through Genius Trading Services (GTS) as a fully managed trading solution or as a standalone solution to transform in-house risk management capabilities.
