Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has initiated its second partnership in the Portuguese market with GoldenPark. A leading brand of the heritage Spanish gambling group MGA Gaming, GoldenPark is targeting Portugal as the first international market for its launch.
GiG has been working with GoldenPark since 2019, providing its Player Account Manager (PAM) and sportsbook solutions for the Spanish market.
The launch of GoldenPark signifies GiG’s activation in the Portuguese market, following the earlier launch of Betway’s subsidiary in the country during the first half of 2022.
José A. Giacomelli, Consejero Delegado of MGA’s Online Division, said: “We are very happy to collaborate with GiG, which is a key factor in our success. We plan on robust growth in this country and believe that the platform should help us achieve this objective.”

In H1, GiG announced new market entry deals with Betsson AB’s RIZK casino brand for the German market and with B-Play Argentina for the launch of a new property in the state of Mendoza.
Meanwhile, as further developments unfold, GiG continues its search for a new CEO following Richard Brown’s departure to the Glitnor Group.
