Steve Bates joins Aurum Solutions as product lead

Aurum Solutions has strengthened its senior leadership team after naming Steve Bates as the new Head of Product and Technology.

In his new role, Bates will take responsibility for Aurum’s development team to help increase the adoption of new technologies across the company. He will also take responsibility for creating an “even more efficient and robust product”. 

Commenting on the appointment, Bates said: “I’m looking forward to shaping the next generation of Aurum’s world-class reconciliation solutions, and taking Aurum to new markets and technologies.

“It is great to be working in the reconciliation space again, we have an amazing team at Aurum, and  I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.” 

Prior to joining Aurum, Bates held a number of technical and product leadership roles at Accurate Software. 

Having also gained experience as the IT Director at FISERV and Actian Corporation, CTO at FirstCare, and Head of Business IT at Aptitude, Aurum believes that Bates will bring a wealth of experience to the company with his “track record of successful implementations and new technology adoption in challenging and dynamic environments”.

This experience, Aurum said, “will shape future developments, taking the company, product and team to the next level”.
