Colossus soft launches game-changer ‘Match Predictor’ pool type

Colossus Bets has soft-launched ‘Match Predictor’ – a new pool type enhancement to boost its product portfolio for sportsbook customers.

Announced as a ‘market first’, Match Predictor will see Colossus bring popular ‘bet-builder’ functionalities to its flagship multi-leg jackpot pool markets, featuring guaranteed prizes.

The enhancement will allow sportsbook customers to select a range of bet types such as correct score results, number of cards and corners awarded within a single sports event – which will be automatically boosted by Colossus’ guaranteed jackpots.

Launching Match Predictor, Colossus has made its pool enhancement available for select ‘high profile matches on the weekly calendar’.

Colossus’ CEO David O’Reilly explained: “In our quest to offer the world’s biggest sports jackpots, we’ve been deliberate in choosing sports content and bet types that can appeal to a broad, recreational sports fan player base. We see our new Match Predictor pools as one of the strongest reflections of this strategic focus to date.

“This release leans on the popularity of bet builder’ ‘fixed-odds products but it’s something that has never been done in a pool betting context. Our players will now be able to enjoy the end-to-end Colossus jackpot experience over the course of a single football match.”

Following its first-stage launch, O’Reilly stated that Colossus would look to optimise Match Predictor for a critical 2021 sports calendar featuring the Euro 2021 football championships.

Colossus underscored the potential of Match Predictor as a vital tool to drive customer sign-ups and conversion with bookmaker campaigns.

O’Reilly added: “We are moving quickly to roll out phase one of Match Predictor pools to our network partners and, in parallel, we are building on this template to deliver a broader, sports-agnostic phase two.

“We also expect these pools to resonate well with our FreePlay customers as they open up new opportunities for event-centric marketing campaigns, whether it’s the build-up to the final of Euro 2021 or a weekend flash campaign.”
