BetConstruct opens platform to competing sportsbooks

European gambling technology developer BetConstruct is opening up its platform to enable the use of third party sportsbook solutions in a bold move that will provide its customers with greater choice in which sportsbook to use.

Previously the BetConstruct platform had been locked into the BetConstruct sportsbook, but the company has announced that it is opening its technology up to the benefit of its partners.

BetConstruct founder & CEO Vigen Badalyan explained that the company was living up to its reputation as being flexible. “Although we develop most of the products in-house, we also offer our partners the alternatives developed by our competitors. In short, we don’t play God to our partners and let them decide what’s best for them.

“However, there are some exceptions. Where the success of the product depends on liquidity, we restrict the offer to our own. The exception from this is the sportsbook and we want to eliminate it.

“Today we are opening our platform to all sportsbooks. Just as we offer slots from Microgaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming and others along with our own content, we decided to offer sports betting products from our competitors to our partners. As we benefited from diversification of our offer in all verticals, we know that we’ll benefit from offering sports betting products from our colleagues to our partners.”

The ability to take a range of sportsbooks makes the BetConstruct platform a lot more attractive to firms and also underlines the firm’s confidence in its own sportsbook solution that it believes that customers will choose to take its own product.
