BetConstruct AI has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Lena Yasir, to take the helm of its leveraging and implementation of AI tech over the coming years.

The firm has been in the midst of a huge expansion of its AI capabilities, having unveiled a new suite of products at the SBC Summit Lisbon last year, with further upgrades planned.

The SoftConstruct-owned company has cited its new hire’s “proven track record” in B2B commercial strategy, international expansion and scaling high-performing teams.

It has also noted her experience across both regulated and emerging markets.

Yasir’s new employer has outlined her key tasks as driving global revenue and innovation, and strengthening the firm’s partnerships across the international iGaming ecosystem.

“BetConstruct AI is a highly respected and successful company in the global iGaming industry, and I am proud to be joining the business at such an exciting time,” Yasir remarked.

Prior to joining BetConstruct AI, Yasir held senior leadership roles across a number of companies.

This included tenures as:

  • Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play’s ARRISE division from 2023-2026
  • Vice President of Pragmatic Play from 2018-2023
  • Head of Commercial at Play’n Go from 2016-2018

She joins BetConstruct AI as she navigates a rapidly developing landscape with regards to AI implementation across the betting and gaming industry.

The company continues to secure new partnerships across the sector. Three months ago it partnered with Logifuture, for example, integrating two of the company’s products onto its platform, Simulate and Zoom Sports.

As with other major industries, the betting space is finding use cases for AI across multiple fields including product and business development, marketing, content creation, and customer services.

The wider AI scene also continues to see disruptions, however, whether in the form of regulatory moves by governments or external developments like the recently concluded legal battle between Sam Altman and Elon Musk.
