Betsson have announced that its online subsidiary Betsafe is the first to launch a gambling app to Apple TV. For now, Swedish players can now log in and play directly from their Apple TV, but Betsafe will soon introduce the product in other countries.
Betsson have said that this Swedish launch illustrates its strategy to remain at the forefront of the industry for providing the best customer experience.
Jesper Svensson, CCO for Betsson Malta, said: “We always look for new opportunities to develop the customer experience which makes it natural that we meet our customers on their terms and where they are.
“The fact that we have the first gambling app on the Apple TV platform reflects our ambition in enhancing the customer experience.”
Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO of Betsson AB, said in a statement that the company’s ground-breaking achievement ‘will most likely set the standard for the entire gaming industry going forward’.
