Digital and Retail Betting and Gaming technology provider BetConstruct has confirmed that it has been granted a gambling software operating licence by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC ) for its Sportsbook product and services.
BetConstruct’s licence application was filed in response to the UK’s revised regulatory regime which requires all software providers servicing the UK market to be licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
George Voyatzis, BetConstruct’s Commercial Director, commented:
“The United Kingdom market is a key market for BetConstruct and is central to our growth plans. We are pleased that our Sports Betting software has met the UK Gambling Commission’s high regulatory standards.
“This license is part of our regulated market strategy and adds to our awarded Category 2 license from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission last year and our submission for Class 2 and Class 4 Licenses from the Malta Gambling Authority.”
In February the technology provider announced the appointment of Vahe Baloulian as its new Chief Executive Officer, and the company anticipates further product services expansion and developments of new services in the coming months.
