Premier Padel, the world’s top level of the fast growing sport, believes it can capitalise on the same appetite for betting opportunities that tennis has over the past few decades.

The padel circuit has been engaging with the betting sector for the past couple of years, signing a sponsorship deal with Betsson in 2024, and this week has signed an official data rights deal with firm iGame Media.

Terms of the deal see iGame Media take on live streaming rights for Premier Padel, covering over 2,400 matches from the 2027 season onwards. The betting data will be made available for both sportsbooks and prediction markets operators.

iGame Media has celebrated the first-of-its-kind deal, which has made Premier Padel in-venue umpire data and low latency live streaming available for pre-match and in-play betting-audiences, matching capabilities of live tennis

“Sports betting represents an important opportunity for Premier Padel as the Tour continues to grow globally,” said Rob Mitchell, VP Commercial at Premier Padel.

“In iGame, we have found a partner that understands both the industry and the unique characteristics of our sport.

“Their ambition to create a bespoke product for Premier Padel will help us offer sportsbooks and fans an engaging, reliable and authentic way to follow the action.”

Padel has been growing rapidly in popularity across multiple markets, and gaining new commercial opportunities. The sport now has more than 36 million players globally, while the number of players in the UK, one of the world’s largest regulated betting markets, has risen by 100,000 over the past year.

iGame Media will begin distributing Premier Padel data from the 2027 season, which will see spots in cities including Acapulco, Buenos Aires, London, Paris and Rome as part of the 26-even schedule in the Major, P1, P2 and finals campaigns.

Mike Cobain, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iGame Media, said: “Premier Padel is one of the most exciting growth stories in sport we have seen in many years. Almost everyone now knows someone who plays padel.

“What we are seeing now is that same growth in padel as a spectator sport. Records are falling at almost every event. The Alpine Paris Major at Roland Garros drew 81,000 fans across the week, up from 64,000 in 2025.

“This is the pace that Premier Padel is moving at. On the other side of the world, the inaugural Pretoria P1 attracted near-capacity crowds over the finals weekend. That gives you a sense of the atmosphere Premier Padel is creating at venues around the world.”
