Betsson has announced a new global betting sponsorship with Premier Padel.
As part of this multi-year agreement with the official professional padel tour, the operator aims to be a dedicated sponsor in offering a wide range of padel odds and also ‘enriching the overall experience’.
Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group, said: “We are probably the most dedicated betting company out there when it comes to padel. With our extensive experience in sponsoring tournaments and offering one of the broadest ranges of odds in the industry.”
Betsson has been actively involved in padel for many years – including several partnerships, ambassadorships, and sponsorship of FIP tournaments – alongside initiatives to raise the interest of the sport by launching the “Betsson Padel Tour”, a nationwide amateur tour in Sweden.
Betsson also sponsored the Mar del Plata Premier Padel P1 in Argentina earlier this year.
Hartvig continued: “Not to mention that many of Betsson employees are devoted padel players. Now, we’re taking it a step further by becoming sponsors of the biggest tournament out there, and we are humbled and delighted to play our part in the growth of the sport.”
Meanwhile, the deal also aims to enhance the fan experience of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour with Betsson providing competitions and new content and insights around the tour’s leading players, in addition to ticketing and VIP experiences during tournaments.
