Betano has extended its sponsorship of Sport Lisboa e Benfica for a further three years.
In the 2021/22 season, the Kaizen Gaming-owned sports betting brand was the first to occupy the sleeve of the Liga Portugal team’s official kit, and will now remain as the official betting sponsor’ until the 2026/27 season.
Julio Iglesias, Chief Commercial Officer at Kaizen Gaming, described the extension as an ‘exciting new chapter together’.
“From working closely with ‘The Eagles’ over the past years, we’ve witnessed first-hand the club’s unwavering dedication to excellence both on and off the field, which is matched only by the support and enthusiasm of its fans,” Iglesias said.
“By renewing our support for Benfica we reaffirm our ongoing commitment to Portugal, the country’s football fans and its prestigious sporting institutions as well as the offer of premium, entertaining and safe betting experiences.”
As well as being displayed on the official shirts, the partnership also involves various joint features and activations.
The deal also reaches the sleeve of the B team’s kits and also that of the Under-23 team, which plays in the Liga Revelação.
