FPSM goes live with industry-first betbuilder comparison tool

FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) has officially gone live with a market-first bet builder comparison tool with its UK oddschecker brand.

The release – developed for both sports betting and media brands – aims to find users of the betting product the best prices and offers for complex same-game multiple bets’.

The recently rebranded firm emphasised that the product is set to ‘empower bet builder customers and arm them with a fairer, simpler way of finding more value in this hard-to-compare market.’

Stuart Simms, Group CEO at FairPlay Sports Media, stated: “This launch provides another instructive example of how we listen to our customers’ demands in order to level the betting playing field for them.

“We’re excited by a product that will galvanise bet builder users with a simple way to maximise their value, while also providing yet another bridge to operators looking for more traffic to their bet builder products which continue to be significant margin-boosters for them.”

Announced in January, Oddschecker Global Media officially announced its new company name, becoming FPSM as the group looked to tell a ‘broader story’ about the entities and capabilities it holds in the market.

Simms said at the time: “We’ve made various strategic acquisitions – with more in the pipeline – to best place ourselves to create more engagement with sports bettors and the data they need, the independent content they demand, and we’re excited to showcase how this realignment and BetTech focus will benefit everyone in the FairPlay Sports Media Network, particularly in the US market.”

On the latest deal, Simms described that bet builders ‘favour the brave’. Prices from bet365, BetMGM, Sky Bet, Paddy Power, and Spreadex will be available to oddschecker’s 5.2 million unique monthly users, with further operators and features, including real-time prediction and AI integration, to be ‘added over time’.

“The bravest bettors will win from significantly enhanced prices as we expose those hiding behind odds obfuscation, while those operators who have true trading expertise and back themselves in this competitive marketplace will win out in the long run,” Simms continued.

This product will initially be rolled out across FPSM’s internal brands before being opened up to a broader roadmap of partnerships external to the group.

The group cited the ‘insatiable demand’ for bet builder-type products in recent years highlights their burgeoning appeal to more and more customers who want to create their own personalised storylines around sports events.

Oddschecker’s traditional odds comparison grid has also been adapted for this launch, while the aim of its unique “parlay engine” is to simplify the bet-building experience and improve engagement by ‘signposting enhanced potential payouts’ and accompanying bet builder offerings from operators.
