Fun88 has announced the signing of cricket legend Dale Steyn as its new Brand Ambassador.
The deal comes during the betting company’s third anniversary, and sees the operator continue to strengthen its presence in the sports and gaming industry.
Steyn, named one of the most iconic fast bowlers in the history of the sport, joins Fun88 as the ‘face of the brand’, meaning he will ‘embody the values of excellence, skill, and sportsmanship’ that resonate with its mission.
A spokesperson from Fun88 commented: “We are delighted to welcome Dale Steyn to the Fun88 family as our esteemed Brand Ambassador. Dale’s exceptional talent, perseverance, and passion for the game mirror the qualities that drive us to excel in the competitive world of online gaming.”
Furthermore, the group has underlined that it expects Steyn’s involvement to bring ‘additional excitement’ to the platform, and further capture the attention of sports enthusiasts and gamers globally.

In 2021, Fun88 also signed West Indian cricket star Daren Sammy as a brand ambassador, strengthening its marketing portfolio of professional sporting partners.
The agreement represented the betting brand’s first collaboration with a flagship cricket spokesperson, and sought to build on the already-existing partnership between Fun88 and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for T20 cricket.
