Digitain has expanded its senior executive leadership team with the addition of Martin Martirosyan who brings extensive experience from across several sectors.
As Deputy CEO, Martiorosyan will play a key role in the C-level management of the Armenia-based B2B supplier Digtain Group and its brand portfolio, headed by Founder Varges Vardanyan.
Holding a PhD in Philosophy and Economics from Yerevan State University, Martirosyan’s career has included tenures in corporate business, products, and risk management
Vardanyan said: “We are delighted for Martin to join our senior leadership team. Our business continues to grow globally strategically across several multiple regulated markets.
“Martin, who has held senior corporate positions with HSBC, brings that wealth of experience as our group of companies expands and we service more B2C partner operators in regulated markets.”
Martirosyan’s previous experience includes a more than 15-year career with HSBC Bank Armenia CJCS, vacating his role as Director of Corporate Banking/Head of Wholesale Banking in June 2023.
He also served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Armenian British Business Chamber between Mach 2023 and June 2023.
The new Deputy CEO joins the company as it targets an enhanced standing across various markets, having opened a new office in Bucharest, Romania, as a basis for European growth.
He also marks the fourth major senior appointment by the firm this year, following Iain Hutchison as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Grigor Asoyan as Deputy CEO of Technology and Simon Westbury as CEO of Sport Generate.
