STATSCORE adds ‘skyrocketing’ IPL to its ScoutsFeed

STATSCORE has added cricket to its ScoutsFeed product ahead of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

The sports data provider has outlined that by including the sport, the company is taking on a ‘significant milestone’ in its expansion plans, as cricket continues to gain popularity worldwide.

Adam Działach, Product Manager at STATSCORE, commented on the deal: “It’s thrilling to add cricket to our coverage, especially with the excitement surrounding the upcoming IPL season.

“We’re confident that our partners will appreciate the coverage, which will certainly allow them to attract and engage cricket fans and bettors.”

With the addition of cricket to STATSCORE’s ScoutsFeed, bookmakers and media organisations will be able to keep their users engaged and entertained thanks to the accurate data from all IPL games.

Popularity of the league is reportedly ‘skyrocketing’, with reports of: 3.2 billion in global viewership, $10.9bn in brand value, 90% increase in value since inception, 101,566 attendees of the 2022 final and 23 million Facebook followers.

As the IPL gets set to begin on 31 March, Defending champions, Gujarat Titans, will be looking to repeat success, while Mumbai Indians are also expected to perform well.

Along with cricket, the product also covers football, basketball, tennis and volleyball, to name a few.
