Sky Bet smartens football bets with new Checkd Acca Assist tool

Checkd Dev the betting innovation studio of sports media publisher Checkd Group has announced that its customised ‘Acca Assist’ betting tool will be trialed by Sky Bet for the remainder of the current football season.

Acca Assist allows bettors to formulate their own accumulator bets that are informed by statistics supplied by Opta.

The betting tool is based on SmartAcca, an information-led product that has proven highly popular within Checkd Group’s award-winning Betting Hub app, that has been customised for Sky Bet football markets.

Adam Patton, Checkd Dev MD, said: “Our SmartAcca tool continues to prove to be a big hit with our large sports betting community who use it to inform their betting choices through our Betting Hub app.

“It was a natural evolution for this product to be licensed to operators for their direct use. It’s fantastic to see Sky Bet as the first to go live with a bespoke version of the tool and we believe that it has the potential to revolutionise how its customers make their accumulator selections.”

The launch follows on from Checkd Dev’s delivery of an updated, future-proofed Sky Sports Fantasy Football platform earlier this season.

The roll-out of Acca Assist is the first time that SmartAcca has been licensed for use by an operator and the tool has been specially adapted to meet the particular requirements of Sky Bet.
