Australian odds betting comparison site Oddschecker AU has felt the wrath of Twitter following its offensive and misogynistic tweet towards Manchester United player James Wilson girlfriend Frankie Barwell.
Oddschecker AU tweeted the below message attached to a picture of Wilson and Barwell attending the Manchester United Player of the Year Awards.
Far from raising a smile from their followers, the tweet sparked outrage as Twitter users criticised Oddschecker AU for being childish, disgusting and misogynistic.
The odds comparison firm (part of the Oddschecker group), has since removed the tweet and apologised for its comments

Frankie Barwell a Manchester Metropolitan University student has hit back at Oddschecker AU on Instagram, posting a picture of herself and the caption: “Remember, people only rain on your parade because they’re jealous of your sun and tired of their shade.”
