FPSM and oddschecker bring back Million Pound Predictor

FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) and its oddschecker brand have announced the return of the free entry Million Pound Predictor for the 2024-25 Premier League season.

The odds comparison site is offering its customers the chance to win £1m by attempting to successfully predict the final table rankings in the English top-flight for this upcoming season. 

This follows similar campaigns in previous seasons that have reportedly seen strong engagement and kept players engaged until the final matchday of the season.

Chris Gillett, Director of Brand at FPSM, commented: “The Million Pound Predictor has cemented itself as an annual tradition for oddschecker players when the new Premier League season returns each year. And with it being a free shot at life-changing money, it really is a no-brainer to take part.”

In detail, players will need to decide whether there will be a renewed title charge from Arsenal or Liverpool, judge if Spurs and Man Utd can kick on after disappointing second halves of last season, and work out how the promoted teams of Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester will fare at the top table.

The season gets underway with Man Utd versus Fulham on 16 August, but this year users will be able to make changes to their predictions until game week four, with the deadline on 16:00 on 13 September 2024.

In January 2024, Oddschecker Global Media officially announced its new company name, becoming FPSM as the group looked to tell a ‘broader story’ about the entities and capabilities it holds in the market.

Gillett concluded on the new deal: “I’ve got a few thoughts of my own about where certain teams will under and over perform, but I know there are thousands of oddschecker users out there who will be readying their form books and analytics for the new season to find that edge and potentially nail down those 20 correct team placements.”

Meanwhile, it was in March that FPSM officially went live with a market-first bet builder comparison tool with its UK oddschecker brand.

The release – developed for both sports betting and media brands – now aims to find users of the betting product the best prices and offers for complex same-game multiple bets’.
