Goldbet appoints Michele Sprovieri as CEO

Austrian sports betting operator GoldBet Entertainment Ltd has appointed Michele Sprovieri as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sprovieri takes over leadership of the European focused bookmaker from outgoing CEO Tim Parker.

An internal GoldBet senior appointment, Sprovieri began his new position on 20 November, having previously served as GoldBet Chief Technical Officer since 2012

GoldBet management announced the appointment to igaming industry news source EGR Magazine. Sprovieri commented to EGR Magazine

“During the last few years the company has been performing well but we are now looking to new step forward,I have been part of this group for many years, and I am confident that we have the potential to achieve our objectives,”

GoldBet was formed in 2000 and, under a licence issued by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta, offers online sports betting, casino and poker products.
