QuinnBet has formed a partnership with The Curragh which includes the launch of a new three race series.
The first of these competitive handicap races takes place on the second day of the Juddmonte Irish Oaks Weekend on 23 July, followed by the second leg on 12 August and the final race on 7 October.
Details were announced at the racecourse by QuinnBet Director Stephen Kelly, Marketing Manager Niall McPartland, as well as Trading Analyst Gerry Shannon.
Stephen Kelly, Director of QuinnBet, stated: “We are delighted to enter into our first partnership agreement with The Curragh which will provide us with a major platform to raise the profile of our brand.
“QuinnBet is proud to showcase our commitment to horse racing in Ireland with our sponsorships.”
Horses who fill the first five places in each of these races will be awarded points with the staff trainer who accumulates the highest number of points, winning a cash prize sponsored by QuinnBet to be shared amongst all staff.
Additionally, the operator will present prizes to the groom in charge of the horse judged to the best best turned out over the course of the three races.
“We are very grateful to QuinnBet for their sponsorship for the first time and their support is a great confidence boost to The Curragh and Irish racing,” added Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager for The Curragh.
“Their brand will be associated with a variety of very competitive races which will give them maximum exposure over three individual days. We look forward to working proactively with their team to ensure they maximise all opportunities associated with the partnership.”
Further in racing, January saw the operator sponsor the Punchestown Grand National Trial for next three years.
Now titled the ‘QuinnBet Grand National Trial’, the deal also saw other branding for QuinnBet featured at the event – with promotions and interactions celebrating the first running of the centrepiece race.
