Betfred has revealed that jockey Jonjo O’Neill JR has joined as a brand ambassador until the 2024 Grand National.
Jonjo O’Neill JR is the son of two-time Gold Cup-winning jockey and Grand National-winning trainer Jonjo O’Neill.
He is also a former Conditional Jockey Championship winner who will now be looking to claim victory at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival, which begins tomorrow.
The operator’s Boss Fred Done commented: “I’m delighted we will be working with Jonjo O’Neill JR., and what a great way to start next week at Cheltenham.”
Moreover, the bookmaker has also noted that Racing TV presenter Frankie Foster, who has been working with Betfred since the 2022 Cheltenham Festival in the capacity as a host of the brand’s digital programming, will continue to present for the company until 2024 in the role of social media ambassador.
“We’re delighted to have Frankie as our ambassador on our social channels,” added Betfred’s Head of Brand, Jade Daniels. “He brings a fresh perspective to Betfred, and working with him has been a joy. We’re excited to see what he has in store for us this year.”
On joining Betfred, Frankie added: “I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with Betfred. Last year we went from Royal Ascot to a Super League Grand Final, to me throwing nine darts at the World Champs!
“As a leading bookmaker across the sports that I love, I couldn’t be happier to work with Betfred moving forwards, and I’m excited for the year of sporting action and sports betting with them!”
