Spotlight Sports Group (SSG) has extended its partnership with bet365, with the operator continuing as sponsor of the ‘Upping the Ante’ YouTube show.
The contract with bet365 has been renewed for a further two years, naming the bookmaker as title sponsor of Upping the Ante for the fourth and fifth consecutive series, covering 21 weekly shows.
Upping the Ante is the Racing Post’s ‘leading’ programme on YouTube, featuring a popular ante-post view and preview special for the Cheltenham Festival, the Big Jump Off preview of the 2022-23 jumps season.
Sam Houlding, Spotlight Sports Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our YouTube content has grown considerably in recent years and forms a hugely important part of our digital output.
“Upping the Ante has been one of our flagship shows that has helped lead the way over that period and as we get ready to launch the latest series of the show on Tuesday, November 8, our continued and highly valued partnership with bet365 will help take it to the next level.
“Upping the Ante has built a very loyal following, with last season being especially successful and we are expecting an even better performance this season.”
bet365 has been a long-term partner of the Racing Post’s Upping the Ante, having extended and enhanced its arrangement with the sports betting media group in both 2020 and 2021.
SSG detailed that the next series will be hosted by David Jennings and Johnny Dineen, as the programme seeks to build on successful momentum over the past few years, having recorded year-on-year growth of 40%.
