SIS expands Orenes partnership with Trading Services deal

SIS (Sports Information Services) has expanded its partnership with Orenes, providing its Versus Apuestas brand with early morning prices and derivatives for horse racing and greyhound racing content.

The prices and derivatives will cover UK and Irish fixtures as well as international horse racing from North America, the Czech Republic, Dubai, Germany, Hungary and Latin America.

Angel Calderon, Digital Sales Manager at SIS, said: “We have successfully partnered with Orenes for a number of years to provide our premium horse and greyhound racing offer to their customers and we are very pleased to have enhanced our partnership with them through this deal.

“As well as being able to access our industry-leading racing content, Orenes customers will now have access to early morning prices and an extensive range of derivatives markets provided by our team of Trading experts.”

Supplied by SIS Trading Services, Orenes aims to use the additional products to further develop its retail offering and enhance its Versus Apuestas brand by making a greater number of betting markets available for its customers.

These markets include match bets, betting without the favourite and additional place markets, in addition to popular options such as odds vs evens and inside vs outside.

SIS Trading Services will provide Orenes with a ‘comprehensive range of markets and pricing for horse and greyhound racing,’ covering the entire betting lifecycle of a race, whilst supporting the operator with algorithms designed to analyse racing data and produce high quality real-time prices.

Juan José López, Sport Betting Director at Versus (Orenes), remarked: “We are thrilled to have extended our partnership with SIS, which made perfect sense to us, given their excellent racing content has been very popular with our customers over the last few years.

“SIS’s range of markets and pricing for horse and greyhound racing is unrivalled in the industry and we are sure that these new early morning prices and derivatives will help us to further enhance our customers’ engagement while also driving revenues.”

The agreement follows SIS’ enhancement of its arrangement with one of its other major clients, Codere, in a deal which will see the firm broadcast remaining 76 horse racing fixtures of the 2021 season from the Hipódromo de las Américas racetrack in Mexico City.
