Codere appoints Moshe Edree to lead its global digital vision

Bolsa Madrid, Spanish gambling operator Grupo Codere has confirmed the appointment of Moshe Edree as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for its Digital Gaming division.

A 15-year gambling technology executive, Edree will be tasked with developing Codere’s digital vision, as the gambling group seeks to further expand within Spain and build-out its initial digital properties for the markets of Mexico and Colombia.

A former Playtech corporate advisor, Edree has advised a number of European operators including Ladbrokes and PartyGaming on developing technology frameworks and managing online scale.

Codere governance details that Edree’s appointment follows an extensive search by the company, to find the best executive to lead its online gambling division in a global context.

Speaking to Spanish news sources, Codere Group Chief Executive Vicente Di Loreto stated that Edree was a key appointment for the firm’s future enterprise strategy.

Further to leading Codere’s digital ambitions, Edree will be a key stakeholder in Codere’s planned 2018 systems upgrade, as the Spanish operator looks to further its omni-channel capabilities.
