Senet Group is seeking a new Chief Executive following the resignation of founder CEO Ron Finlay, who was recruited to set up governance for the organisation in 2014.
Ron Finlay said: “Senet Group has been on an amazing journey in the last 18 months. We have taken the idea from a piece of paper to create an independent body that has delivered a national advertising campaign, engaged the industry and its key stakeholders in an important debate and recruited Sky Betting & Gaming as the first digital-only member.
“Now feels like the time for someone new to take it on the next step of the journey. I wish Senet and the team well and look forward to seeing it grow further.”
Wanda Goldwag, Chair and Independent Standards Commissioner, said: “We appreciate the contribution that Ron has made, particularly in relation to the establishment of Senet Group in 2014 and the creation of the iconic When The Fun Stops Stop brand. We wish him well.”
