Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Meydan Group LLcC for full broadcast of Dubai Racing fixtures.
The broadcast package includes 20 fixtures per year, and will be headlined by the $30 million Dubai World Cup card in March.
RMG coverage of Dubai Racing fixtures will begin in November, with exclusive coverage from Meydan Racecourse.
RMG stated that the distribution deal further cements a burgeoning relationship between the two organisations as RMG has also won the production tender for the supply and operation of audio-visual equipment for racing at Meydan.
Richard FitzGerald, CEO of RMG, welcomed the agreement:
“We are delighted to work with Meydan in showcasing the world’s finest horseracing through both RMG’s ever-increasing international distribution network and our top-class presentation and production values.
“We are hugely appreciative of the support His Highness Sheikh Mohammed provides British racing. As RMG is owned by 34 British racecourses, it is another illustration of how strong the ties are between Dubai and British racing and we look forward to successfully exploring further synergies and opportunities together.”
