Pride of place for 32Red through new Derby County deal

Fans of the Rams will get a first look at Derby County FC’s 2018/19 home shirt today (31 May), complete with club’s new principal shirt sponsor 32Red.

The Championship club, a beaten semi-finalist in the recent end of season Playoffs, has confirmed that the 32Red logo will take pride of place on the front of all of its first-team kits for the forthcoming season, as well as all adult replica shirts.

The Kindred Group sports betting and casino brand will also gain a digital platform around Pride Park, as well as the opportunity to run events and competitions to raise awareness.

Kindred’s UK General Manager Neil Banbury said: “We are extremely proud to partner with Derby County, a traditional and successful club. It has been a pleasure to deal with the club in agreeing our principal club partnership, that will see the 32Red brand on the front of the shirts and the training kit.

“We look forward to building on our successful history in football sponsorship and providing Rams fans with the excitement and entertainment that has made 32Red an industry-leader in online casinos. The ambition of the club is evident to see, and we wish the club and the fans every success in their push to the Premier League.”

Derby County FC’s Head of Partnerships Ashley Peden added: “We’re delighted and hugely excited by this partnership with 32Red, who are part of the Kindred Group, and the opportunities it will provide for both parties.”

“32Red are current, forward-thinking, and a brand with a proven track record of sponsoring high-profile football clubs. We are thrilled that they will be Derby County’s principal shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 season.

“We look forward to building a strong relationship between our two brands both on and off the field over the forthcoming year and we would like to thank Kindred Group for their support.”

Meanwhile, the Rams will continue to wear Umbro branded kit until 2022. The sportswear supplier will once again produce all on-pitch 2018/19 collections for Derby’s squads, management staff as well as replica kit for the club’s supporters.
