Abios provides esports betting solutions to Unibet and 32Red

Abios has announced a partnership with Kindred Group to provide its esports betting solutions to the betting and gaming operator.

As a data and odds provider, and part of Kambi Group, Abios will supply its complete esports package, including odds, data, widgets and always-on content, to Kindred’s Unibet and 32Red brands.

Ben Colley, Sportsbook Director of Kindred Group, commented: “Esports continues to grow in popularity, and it’s essential that we offer our customers the best possible experience in this exciting category.

“Extending our partnership with Abios via Kambi’s Odds Feed+ API and leveraging their deep expertise and esports odds solutions ensures we remain at the forefront of esports betting, delivering unparalleled products and services to our players.”

Meanwhile, in leveraging Kambi’s Odds Feed+ API, Abios will deliver its ‘high-uptime’ odds feed which includes esoccer and ebasketball coverage, as well as esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2 and VALORANT.

Furthermore, utilising automated modelling, Abios’ low latency odds feed uses official tournament data to power features such as bet builder and player props. The deal builds upon an existing relationship between the pair formed in March last year.

“We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Unibet and the wider Kindred Group, a leader in the global sports betting and gaming market,” added Anton Janér, Managing Director and Co-founder of Abios.

“This agreement showcases the value of Abios’ full esports odds packages and our ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of operators and enables them to reach new audiences through the growth of esports.”

The new agreement is in addition to the esports odds service Abios currently provides to Kindred as part of Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook service.

As esports continues its meteoric rise, the betting landscape evolves just as quickly.

Last month, to understand what is in store for the year ahead, SBC News sat down with Abios Managing Director Anton Janér, Sales Director Niclas Sundell and Engineering Manager Peter Torsson to explore the product developments that could reshape esports wagering in 2025.

They said: “Operators need to build an user acquisition strategy behind their esports products to generate strong returns.

“Paramount to this strategy is staying on top of upcoming tournaments and trends, as well as delivering engaging features that adds value to the viewership experience.

“Fans watch esports matches online on broadcasts where they can interact with each other through chats or get commentary from their favourite streamers.

“For sportsbooks to attract fans and enable them to stay on their platforms for longer, offering in-play statistics and other value-adding engagement features is key.”
