Bodog becomes Official Asian Betting Partner for Aston Villa

Aston Villa FlagAston Villa Football Club has announced that Bodog will join its roster of partners for the 2016/17 season. Bodog is currently not granted marketing rights outside of Asia, but they will become the exclusive Official Asian Betting Partner for the Championship club.

Bodog is the latest addition to the list of betting partners at the Birmingham based club. Just last week, the club confirmed EnergyBet as its official UK and Europe betting partner.

Peter Wright, Head of Partnerships at Aston Villa, said: “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Bodog. As the club looks to engage with our rapidly growing Asian fanbase in more innovative ways, and enhance the Villa brand globally, this partnership feels like a natural fit.

“Having already agreed partnerships with respected brands and institutions at the local, national and continental level, it is very exciting to expand the club’s strategy to a global level and we are thrilled to be making this journey alongside Bodog.”

Michael Bartinson, Marketing Director for Bodog Asia, commented: “In terms of competitiveness, excitement and sheer unpredictability The EFL Championship is, in fact, miles ahead of most of the elite leagues which are normally dominated by just two or three teams.

“Villa are a huge club with a great history, and with a fresh impetus at the helm we think it’s the ideal time to be building a long-term relationship with the club.”
