SIS (Sports Information Services) has announced the promotion of a three-man leadership team to consolidate its esports offering.
Peter Camden, Stephen Maguire and Aaron St Pierre have all been tasked with key roles to boost the international success of SIS’ Competitive Gaming product line.
Camden will move to the role of Head of Competitive Gaming Product, Maguire will become Head of Competitive Gaming Operations, while Pierre takes on the role of Head of Sports Trading.
All three team leaders will combine their extensive expertise of operating in markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the US.
Andy Purkiss, Chief Operating Officer at SIS, said: “Peter, Stephen and Aaron have been critical in driving Competitive Gaming’s extensive offering to our large network of international operators. We are delighted to see the trio step into roles that will allow us to continue to flourish.
“Their leadership, expertise and passion for the product leave us confident we will unlock even greater value for our partners moving forward, scaling our presence in key markets while setting the industry standard for integrity-led, data-rich betting content.”
SIS Competitive Gaming features an end-to-end esports betting product that offers round-the-clock betting opportunities for more than 225,000 annual eBasketball and eSoccer events, with the company registering up to 10% in added value for partnering sportsbooks.
But esports is not the only vertical that SIS is proactively expanding the reach of. Most recently, the betting service provider became an official partner of the Doncaster Greyhound Racing Stadium until 2028.
The deal will see SIS distribute 24/7 live betting services to global operators for UK greyhound racing – a sport that has been on the decline lately due to mounting political pressure and dwindling audience numbers.
On the greyhound racing deal, Paul Witten, EMEA Managing Director at SIS, said: “We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Doncaster Greyhound Stadium since 2017, and this renewal underlines our commitment to working collaboratively to deliver a robust and consistent greyhound racing product.
“Doncaster continues to play an important role in our 24/7 racing schedule, helping us to meet the needs of operators and bettors around the world.”
