Relax partners with Holland Casino to bolster Dutch position

Relax Gaming has partnered with Holland Casino to release its content in the Netherlands, following the launch of the Dutch online gaming market on 1 October.

The igaming aggregator and content supplier aims to leverage the deal to ‘pave the way’ for both itself and its partners to expand operations on the Netherlands as well as to ‘demonstrate the appeal of its diverse portfolio,’ which it plans to tailor for specific market requirements.

Holland Casino was one of the first Dutch operators to receive a licence from regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) following the initiation of the regulated online market, and as a result of the agreement with Relax will launch the latter’s proprietary titles, in line with the Netherlands safe and responsible gambling standards.

The firm will also gain access to third-party suppliers via its collaboration with Relax, such as the latter’s Silver Bullet and Powered by Relax partners.

Daniel Eskola, COO at Relax Gaming, said: “As one of the Netherland’s most popular casinos, it’s a fantastic advantage for us to be partnering with Holland Casino at this important juncture for the market and furthering the distribution of our proprietary and third-party games to new audiences.

“The collaboration is testament to both the quality and variety provided through our platform as we drive differentiation and we look forward to working closely with them to deliver a tailored offering that caters specifically to the Dutch market.”

The agreement builds on a number of distribution deals struck by Relax as it moves to further establish itself and grow its presence in regulated markets, whilst also following on from its success at the inaugural CasionBeats Games Developer Awards where it won the Slot of the Year 2021 and Slot to Watch 2021 accolades.

Jeroen Verkroost, Digital Transformation Director at Holland Casino, remarked: “Relax’s reputation for business simplicity and efficient integration have made it a platform we have been eager to integrate with for quite some time.

“We have great expectations for this partnership and know our customers will be big fans of the range of engaging and market-specific online casino content that is already live.”
