Why the Betting on Football experience is more than just business

Networking #bofcon2017SBC Events has stacked up the unique networking features and competitions for next week’s Betting on Football at Stamford Bridge (3-5 May).

The conference already offers an extensive range of content, an impressive line-up of 140 world class speakers and a massive turnout of 800+ senior industry delegates.

However, there will also be networking opportunities aplenty at two high-level parties, in and around the exhibition floor and on stadium tours, as well as within a range of fun competitions.

Networking areas in and around the exhibition floor

There are designated networking areas within the exhibition floor, where it is easy to do quick seated chats. Catch up with existing contacts or arrange quick introductions to new ones at the Racing Post Cafe. Some companies have also secured private meeting rooms which look out onto the pitch.

On Wednesday the sessions and exhibitions end at around 17:00, with a few official Betting on Football networking drinks.

Stadium tours + Win a signed Chelsea shirt

For those wishing to experience a bit more of the history and atmosphere of Stamford Bridge, Intertops is sponsoring stadium tours on Wednesday afternoon. Delegates can get a place on the tours by visiting the Intertops stand (Stand 8).

For football fans, it will also be possible to win a signed Chelsea shirt or Football. To learn more about this, make sure to visit the SBC Global stand (Stand 23).

MATCHDAY SUITES SHOWCASE

On Thursday morning there will be a champagne breakfast in the Directors Lounge and exclusive viewing of executive suites and match day boxes for interested delegates. There is a maximum number of people 50, so it is first come first serve basis. Sponsored by Chelsea FC.

Esports competition + Win a signed West Ham shirt

Digital Fuel Marketing will again be hosting a FIFA tournament on its stand during the networking drinks where competitors will hope to avoid Europe’s No. 1 ranked FIFA 17 player Jamboo.

Recently signed for West Ham, Jamboo has over 50,000 subscribers to his channel and will be entering the competition in round one. A signed West Ham shirt will be up for grabs if you knock Jamboo out of the tournament and the best placed non-professional will take home the Xbox.

In the afternoon, Jamboo will be available for individual challenges and if you manage to beat him, you will win a football shirt of your choice. Make sure you stop by the Digital Fuel stand early to secure your place in the tournament, as there are only 16 spots available in this prestigious tournament.

Play area with Foosball tables

Following the massive success at Betting on Football 2016, SBC has brought in a couple of foosball tables. These will be available in the Exhibition Hall ‘Play Area’ sponsored by Golden Race. Competitions will run from 16:30 on Wednesday during Networking Drinks, and the tables will be open to play on Thursday.

Penalty kick competition

Those who prefer their football in full size can visit the VSoftCo stand where the virtual sports developer has a penalty kick competition to discover who is the industry’s best sharpshooter.

Chris Kamara

As a former English professional football player, now a football analyst and presenter on Sky Sports, Chris Kamara will bring his expertise to the ambassador panel on Thursday afternoon. Always highly passionate and excitable, he is sure to make this a very popular session to round off the session tracks.

With just a few days left to the event, and no guarantee of available tickets left, the time to secure your tickets is running out. Interested companies are recommended to move quickly to avoid disappointment.

With fewer than 100 tickets left for next week’s Betting on Football Conference, companies are advised to sign up now or risk missing out on the biggest betting conference the industry has experienced.
