GBGB assigns Racing and Sports PTY to upgrade UK greyhounds data intelligence

Racing and Sports PTY (RAS) has announced its first major UK partnership, becoming the new data intelligence partner of the Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB).

Securing a long-term partnership, RAS will overhaul the GBGB’s database capabilities to help the governing body monitor and record all greyhound racing fixtures in the UK.

Further to optimising GBGB’s database, RAS will aim to provide the greyhound board with a suite of enhanced form and analytical products to improve GBGB’s commercial relationship with sportsbook and media partners.

Updating stakeholders, GBGB described its data partnership with RAS as a “strategic priority aimed at developing and promoting the sport with innovative data and products which will appeal to greyhound enthusiasts and younger audiences alike.”

RAS targets new European sports and wagering partnerships following its successful listing on the Australia ASX that concluded its 2021 activities. The Canberra-based sports tech and data intelligence firm secured its target ASX capitalisation of + AUS 20 million.

Having established its UK presence, RAS eyes a further ‘Northern Hemisphere expansion’ led by sportsbook and UK racing commercial veteran Brent Dolan, as UK and European markets MD.
