BetVictor appoints Karmarama as World Cup 2018 creative lead

Gibraltar-based online bookmaker, BetVictor has confirmed the appointment of London marketing agency Karmarama as its lead creative account.

Confirming its new creative agency, BetVictor details that Karmarama has been tasked with developing the bookmaker’s upcoming World Cup 2018 marketing campaign, as BetVictor seeks to ramp up its brand coverage during a critical period for all bookmakers.

Moving forward, Karmarama will oversee the launch and delivery of a new brand campaign across traditional and digital media in the build-up to and throughout the World Cup.

Commenting on the appointment, Shane Stafford Head of Brand at BetVictor, said:“What impressed us most was Karmarama’s understanding of the BetVictor brand. We believe the campaign they’re currently working on is truly unique and will establish a clear identity for us before, during and after the World Cup. Karmarama’s creative, technology-focused approach made them an ideal fit for us.”

Karmarama has prior industry experience, working as main European creative lead for Kindred Group online bookmaker Unibet.

James Denton-Clark, Managing Director at Karmarama, backed BetVictor as new agency partner adding: “We’re hugely excited to be working with BetVictor, a true challenger brand who aren’t afraid to take chances. They share the same creative ambition as ourselves and with this being a World Cup year, our new partnership is ready to take on the challenge.”
