Industry marketing veteran Ryan Murton has resigned from his position as Head of Digital Marketing for odds comparison portal Oddschecker (Oddschecker.com).
Murton confirmed to SBC that he had officially left Oddschecker in order to pursue personal projects. As yet Oddschecker management have yet to officially confirm Murton’s departure or whether he will be replaced as Head of Marketing.
Murton had joined the Sky Betting & Gaming subsidiary in December 2015 taking on the newly created senior marketing role, as Oddschecker looked to optimise its marketing strategy.
Prior to joining Oddschecker, Murton had Senior Marketing Manager for Betfair working on SEO and Pay-Per-Click initiatives (2013 – December 2015).
An industry ‘search’ specialist Murton has further held marketing managerial positions at Rank Group (2012-2013) and Paddy Power (2011 – 2012).
