Betting industry platform provider FSB Technology has announced the launch of new horseracing specialist betting operator ‘Black Type’.
Black Type has been co-founded by Dave Gowers and Craig Nicholson, who oversaw the resurgence of 888sport’s racing products while working at Kambi, in conjunction with Mylo Sangster, the grandson of famous owner breeder Robert Sangster.
In partnership with FSB, the new market incumbent will feature a unique hybrid trading solution, allowing certain sports markets to be controlled by their own team of traders and others to be run by FSB’s London-based staff.
FSB Technology’s Business Development Director Richard Thorp, was pleased to launch Black Type into the UK betting market, commenting: “It is a feather in our cap that traders with a specialist knowledge of all the managed sportsbook options on the market chose FSB over some of our competitors.
“We’re very confident that our offering is sufficiently flexible to combine the best CRM tools with specialist trading knowledge to deliver a compelling product that will excite customers and plug a gap in the market.”
Craig Nicholson commented on the launch of Black Type “We wanted to draw on our knowledge and racing heritage to put that right, but most importantly we wanted to offer a very competitively-priced service while also being seen to lay a fair bet. We’re called Black Type for a reason.”
“Of all the managed sportsbook solutions, it was also a no-brainer to go with FSB Technology as their platform was by far the most flexible and appealing to traders like us.”
