Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has officially acquired SEO and content services provider, Titan Inc. Limited.
Following the head-of-terms agreement signed in June, GiG aims to bolster its operational capabilities and reinforce market leadership within its media and affiliate business, Gentoo Media (previously GiG Media).
Jonas Warrer, CEO of Gentoo Media and acting group CEO of GiG, noted: “I’m pleased to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Titan.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategic goals to enhance operational efficiencies and strengthen our position in the market.
“Integrating Titan’s SEO and content expertise will improve our service capabilities. We look forward to realising the benefits this brings to our operations and stakeholders.”
Meanwhile, the Malta-based online gaming platform’s integration of Titan will also drive cost savings and operational efficiencies for Gentoo Media’s publishing division.
SEO and content costs are expected to be significantly reduced for operations consolidated under Titan, GiG explained. Additionally, Titan’s expertise will optimise the quality and time-to-market of the business, which is expected to increase revenue within the division.
The move comes at a transformative time for GiG relating to M&A and investment activity. Back in June, SkyCity announced its decision to sell its stake in GiG.
The New Zealand-based operator – which was advised to “enter into an unconditional agreement” to sell off all its shares – said that proceeds from the sale of its 10% stake, would result in a net return of about NZ$55m after brokerage and legal costs.
