Bayes Esports will serve as the official data supplier for the Roobet Cup 2023 Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament via a partnership with Relog Media.
The duo aim to ‘set a new benchmark’ for esports tournaments by leveraging Bayes’ data solutions throughout the Roobet Cup, and have detailed plans for further collaboration in this area.
Relog has a history of working with Bayes, and the partners have detailed a joint ambition to ‘shift their focus’ in new areas. The Roobet Cup, which includes high-profile teams such as Astralis, FNATIC and Heroic competing for a $250,000 prize pool, provides a strong opportunity for this, the firms believe.
Amir Mirzaee, Managing Director & CCO at Bayes Esports, said: “Roobet Cup 2023 is a significant event on the esports calendar, and we are honoured to be the official data supplier.
“This partnership exemplifies our commitment to pioneering official data in the esports industry and underscores the value of accurate and real-time data for players, fans, and Stakeholders.”
Esports has grown in popularity exponentially over recent years, and as such has become an increasingly prominent global betting market, with CS:GO, Dota 2 and League of Legends earmarked as the ‘big three’ esports titles.
In an interview with SBC News earlier this month, Bayes’ CEO, Martin Dachselt, provided a breakdown of the opportunities all three games hold for bookmakers.
