Betknowmore and Everett Sky to fill safer gambling HR gaps

Betknowmore has signed an agreement with outsourcing business Everett Sky focused around human resources and recruitment in the safer gambling sphere.

The partnership will leverage Betknowmore’s training and signposting to promote Everett Sky’s safer gambling service. The solution supports operators with development of 24/7, multi-jurisdictional safer gambling, compliance, and customer service analyst teams.

Everett provides its services through a multi-language 24/7 online and phone chat network, with the end goal of training people to operator safety software and standards. The company aims to relieve pressure on industry resources during times of change.

Everett Sky CEO Phil Ridgwell said: “We are absolutely delighted to finalise this partnership with Betknowmore. Ever since our first conversation, I have been hugely impressed with the passion and knowledge of the sector held by Frankie, Ben and the wider team. They have been a pleasure to deal with, and this partnership marks a significant moment for us.

“With the ever-changing landscape within the betting and gaming sector creating pressures on talent and resources, our safer gambling team solution can help operators scale their teams and add capacity across their markets.

“With the added expertise of Betknowmore’s fantastic training and development, our solution is now even stronger. I am excited to see the partnership develop in the months and years ahead and look forward to working with operators to develop their teams to achieve what we are all aiming for – a safer gambling experience for players.”

Betknowmore’s role in the partnership is to signpost Everett Sky’s services to operators, promoting the service’s capability to assist operators manage safer gambling responsibilities and keep customers within their limits.

The organisation’s day-to-day remit revolves around providing safer gambling training services. In an expansion of its reach, the group became the latest organisation to join GambleAware’s National Gambling Support Network (NGSN), as the latter group seeks to implement a ‘regional-first’ approach to tackling gambling harm.

“It is a great pleasure to be working alongside the team at Everett Sky,” said Ben Davies, Director of Commercial Affairs, Betknowmore. “It’s clear to see that Phil and the team have a real passion and drive for improving safer gambling standards within the industry.

“Their safer gambling team solution fits with our own values of minimising gambling harms and supports operators with the common theme of staff retention; providing highly trained and skilled safer gambling operatives when they need them most.

“We are all very excited about this collaboration and look forward to working closely with the team.”
