London-based AstroPay has already had plans in extending its brand further into Europe following an expansion into the market last year. By being a part of the most viewed football league in the world; the Premier League, Crystal Palace offers AstroPay more visibility and recognition.

The partnership represents a further expansion of the firm’s sports-oriented marketing efforts, building on prior partnerships with Burnley FC’s women’s team and the Sri Lanka T20 World Cup.

Astropay has a long history of success in the payment solutions sector, and we look forward to working with them during the remainder of the season.”

In an expansion in the region, Speaking to SBC in September last year, Mikael Lijtenstein, CEO at AstroPay, stated that Europe is an ‘extremely challenging’ market. He added: “A few months back, we launched in Europe. The UK, Spain and Portugal were our first markets. We’re happy to embark on this new challenge to service users all over the world.
