Mark Summerfield – 888 Holdings

London-listed online gambling group 888 Holdings Plc has strengthened its governance advisory by confirming the appointment of Mark Summerfield as a new Non-Executive Director.

An expert in the auditing and financial planning of large-scale enterprises, Summerfield is the former Partner and Global Head of Gaming for ‘big-4’ accountancy KPMG (2003-2017).

During his executive tenure at KPMG, Summerfield further served as interim CFO of William Hill, helping the FTSE bookmaker undertake its new strategic direction whilst assisting with its corporate transformation plan and adoption of technology programs.

Further to his appointment as a corporate advisor, 888 governance confirms that Summerfield will act as Chairman of the firm’s Audit Committee, working alongside non-executives Zvika Zivlin and Anne de Kerckhove.

888 Holdings Chairman, Brian Mattingley commented: “With his extensive experience working with boards and audit committees of major listed companies, Mark brings a wealth of experience to 888. This will be of considerable benefit as the company continues to grow and pursue its strategic objectives. He will be a valuable addition to the board and the audit committee and I am delighted that he has agreed to join us.”
