Betway expands its football sponsorship portfolio with former German champions

Betway has signed a three-year deal to become the official betting partner of four-time German champions, Werder Bremen.

The deal marks Betway’s continued expansion into German football, as the online bookmaker has already sponsored four Bundesliga 2 clubs – St. Pauli, Union Berlin, Eintracht Braunschweig, Dynamo Dresden.

The new agreement is part of Betway’s commitment to driving brand awareness with major football teams on the continent, as well as its status in the UK where it has been the principal sponsor of West Ham United since 2015.

In September 2016, Betway also announced a deal to become the official betting partner of Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht and the Croky Cup.
