Updating the market this morning, Stockholm Nasdaq-listed LeoVegas Group AB (LeoVegas) has confirmed that it has been approved an online gambling operator license by the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA).

Confirming its Danish license, LeoVegas one of the industry’s fastest growing operators will now move to expand its presence within its core market of Scandinavia.

The Malta-headquartered operator currently holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).  Updating stakeholders, LeoVegas governance declared that they were pleased to further bolster the firm’s European licensing provisions with the DGA approval.

“LeoVegas expansion continues, and it is gratifying to see how we grow in new markets,” commented Gustaf Hagman, Group CEO and LeoVegas Co-Founder.

“Our strategy to enter regulated markets or markets that are facing regulation seems like a winning concept. I am convinced that our market-leading mobile gaming product, data-driven marketing approach and a strong, local team will help ensure a successful launch in Denmark, where no one has yet taken the mobile position.”

The granting of its Danish DGA a license follows a busy Q2 for LeoVegas, in which the mobile gaming specialist launched its sports betting product LeoVegas Sport in May
