Big Sports Dinner

Organisers of the Malta iGaming Seminar (MiGS), an established iGaming conference, announced that they are pleased to partner with the BiG Foundation, an industry-initiated endeavor to raise funds for deserving charities.

They will be organizing a fund-raising event, namely “the BIG lunch” that will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 1pm following the two-day MiGS conference that will be held at the Hilton Malta.  The champagne reception and three-course lunch will be hosted at the Quadro Restaurant at the Westin Dragonara in St. Julian’s. Tickets may be purchased as a charitable donation at the rate of €150 per person.  Tables may also be purchased through the BiG Foundation website (http://www.thebigfoundation.org.uk/event/the-big-lunch).

Kevin Buttigieg, CEO of RE/MAX Malta, a founding partner of MiGS said: “The BiG Foundation is in line with our corporate social responsibility as Malta’s leading iGaming Conference organiser”.  “We would like to encourage gaming operators and service providers to join in and book a table”

To kick off the fund-raising for this charitable event, Tipico, the betting company, has become the headline sponsor.  The designated charity recipients for this event are the Malta Community Chest Fund and the St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, a research and treatment facility for catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers.

The BiG Foundation is a UK registered grant making charity which aims to improve and enhance the quality of life of injured, sick, or terminally ill individuals globally, with a focus on the healing power of sport.  This charity aspires to improve the physical, social, emotional and psychological wellbeing of these individuals, as well as their immediate families and caretakers, with the provision of specialist care, support networks, sports resources or equipment, assisting access to, participation in and engagement with sports and physical activities.

Richard Hogg, a Trustee of the BiG Foundation, concluded by saying “We are ever so delighted to organize a charity lunch in Malta and also give to The Malta Community Chest Fund, one of the largest charitable organizations on the islands”.

Organisers of The BiG Sports Dinner, BiG will continue to create fund raising events. Each event will raise funds for an agreed group of charities.
