Bayes Esports has both extended and expanded its current partnership with ESL Gaming with the aim of ‘driving esports forward’.
With the current partnership already covering games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2, the revamped deal will span more esports titles from ESL Gaming’s portfolio.
In addition, Bayes noted that the collaboration will also become refined with more granular data technology to enable a wider range of applications.
“We are only looking for partners who want to set uniform standards with us and to drive esports forward with high-quality technologies,” commented Bernhard Mogk, SVP Global Business Development at ESL Gaming.
“To increase esports’ media presence, the media and other data users must get all the information they need as quickly and reliably as possible.”
ESL Gaming has already begun using Bayes’ CARP parser – a technology which enables large data sets to be automatically extracted and structured.
Bayes believes that this technology ‘is able to extract many more data points and with higher quality than existing parsers’ and ‘allows media to display full 2D visualisations live and during the game, showing player positions and trajectories of objects’.
Martin Dachselt, CEO of Bayes Esports, added that technologies such as CARP are enabling Bayes Esports to consolidate its position as a global esports provider.
He explained: “We are able to offer an unprecedented depth of data on professional tournaments and games. Based on this, new services and products can be developed that will lead to an ever-better spectator and fan experience in esports.”
