Steven Mullington, the lead horse racing writer on the 888sport blog, has stepped up to challenge bettingexpert’s Stephen Harris in the Flat Season Tipster Challenge at York.
Last week, Harris started the new Flat Season competition, sponsored by Betting Gods, by collecting 29.50 points at Chester, which included winners at 16/1 and 15/2.
Meanwhile, Mullington, who also writes for the online ‘Grand National Guide’ throughout the year, will be hoping to better the 2.00-point return for Alex Donohue from ODDSbible.

David O’Meara and Danny Tudhope are a formidable pairing at this early stage in the season and their Out Do looks very strong in this contest. Listed winners running in handicaps are always of interest and Out Do should be on any shortlist.

Hopefully Kevin Ryan will be going for a double when it comes to this race and Brando can give him his second winner of the afternoon. A horse on the upgrade, Brando won first time out this season.

Comes from the excellent Dalgleish stable and looked a winner waiting to happen when touched off by Black Orange last time out (winner has since run a blinder in defeat at Chester).
