FairPlay Sports Media launches AI studio to power group networks

FairPlay Sports Media has launched its new FairPlay AI Studio, taking charge of developing predictive algorithms and data sources for the group-wide innovation unit, FairPlay Technologies.

The launch of FairPlay AI advances the technology ambitions, data intelligence, and dedicated resources of FairPlay Sports Media—a new venture founded in 2024 following the merger of Bruin Capital’s media assets, including Oddschecker Group, WhoScored, and SuperScommesse Italia. 

FairPlay AI has been established following the network-wide integration of Quarter4, a deep learning neural technology acquired by FairPlay Sports Media in early 2024. FairPlay AI will serve as a “powerful sports forecasting engine, incorporated network-wide to provide the foundation of its newly focused tech arm, FairPlay Technologies.”

The new division will serve as a conduit for the group’s three data engines—covering behavioural analytics, pricing models, and AI—creating a uniquely powerful pre-game and in-game experience for fans. These innovations can be deployed across both partner properties and FairPlay’s owned and operated assets via seamless integrations.

FairPlay AI’s capabilities are already applied to several live products, including Oddschecker’s subscription service, ‘+’, which provides Expected Value projections for NFL, NBA, NHL, and other sports. Recently, soccer has been added to the platform, with a global launch imminent.
